Catlow & Company — Sangiovese Rosé, King Valley — 2025

Sangiovese is proudly grown by the Corsini family in the Upper King Valley (320m.) The fruit was pneumatically pressed, settled, fermented, and aged in neutral puncheons. No malo. It was bottled under Stelvin after 9-months.

Orange blossoms, strawberry, red currant and pink grapefruit aromas offset by red candied fruit and toffee apple. Slippery upon entry, a fleshy front palate : raspberry custard with a savoury nuance offering more layers. Gentle chalky cut with talcy phenolics. Cleansing acidity leaves a bright, moreish finish.
